MNRLab Participates in Baladna Exhibition (May 19 2016)
In light of the state interest in small start-ups and medium investments, which occupies a prominent position in the Egyptian economy, which is considered in the industry is the main engine of economic growth, increase exports and create jobs. Accordingly, the Industrial Modernization Centre has organized this exhibition at the Conference Hall in the period from May 19 to 22, 2016, in order to promote the products of small and medium factories and innovative prototypes of the Universities and research centers. The Industrial Modernization Centre has invited the German University in Cairo to participate in a relatively large booth to show some of the mentioned prototypes. The GUC booth has attracted visitors from diverse fields, different industries and Universities. Dr. Mohamed Elwi, Eng. Abdelrahman Hosney, Ms. Dalia Mahdy, Mr. Khaked Sadik, Eng. Ahmed Nossier, Eng. Mohamed Abo Sief, Mr. Omar shams and Mr. Martin Nabil have provided demonstrations throughout the period of the exhibition to hundreds of visitors.
MNRLab organized a workshop on smart materials and chem/bio sensing (7 May 2016)
MNRLab participates in Hannover Messe (April 24 2016)
The HeliMag System and the Internet-of-things project of the German University in Cairo are being presented in Hall 2, Booth A18 at Hannover Exhibition between 24-30 April 2016. A group of Engineers from MNRLab, in close collaboration with researchers from the faculty of pharmacy, have presented cutting edge technology that has been developed within the German university in Cairo. This technology, which we refer to as HeliMag, would enable robotic systems to navigate within our bodies to achieve targeted therapy and diverse biomedical applications. Hannover Exhibition is the largest industrial exhibition in the world with approximately 5000 exhibitors. Barack Obama has joined Angela Merkel in opening Hannover Messe 2016. This year, the United States is Partner Country at the world’s most important trade fair for industrial technology.
